America's Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration
This event is held at the birthplace of Thanksgiving, Plymouth, Massachusetts, on the weekend before Thanksgiving. The celebration of Thanksgiving becomes history brought to life as Pilgrims, Native Americans, soldiers, patriots and pioneers proudly climb out of the history books and onto the streets of Plymouth. The festivities include historical reenactments, patriotic concerts, vintage cars and a food festival with the area’s best chowders, soups and desserts. The unique Thanksgiving Day parade offers spectacularly creative floats, individually produced by local craftsmen.
