UK, Ireland, Germany & Australia/New Zealand

DNE offers marketing programs which allow New England tourism-based organizations to gain exposure to the target markets of the UK, Ireland, Germany and Australia/New Zealand. These include participating in a DNE booth at some of the largest international travel trade shows in our core markets where companies can meet face-to-face with international tour operators and media. Tour America Red Cow Show

September 30, 2018 —Tour America is Ireland's leading holiday specialist to the USA, Canada and Mexico, and Worldwide Cruises. Their 18th Annual Sale Day will take place Sunday September 30, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Discover New England will showcase to approximately 20,000 qualified Tour America clients.

Cost: $1,000 per person (2 spaces available) – plus travel, hotel and personal expenses.

World Travel Market – London, England

November 5 – 7, 2018 — World Travel Market (WTM) is a ‘must attend’ tour operator-only event that is fully representative of the global travel and tourism industry. It is attended by approximately 51,000 members of the travel industry each year. For the 18th consecutive year, Discover New England will coordinate the unified New England presence at WTM. We encourage members of the New England travel industry to join us to meet and do business with representatives from the consumer and trade media, tour operators, travel agents and airlines. With the United Kingdom as the #1 source of visitors from the overseas markets into the United States, WTM is a vital component in the business of those who truly want to attract more British visitors to their property or destination.

Cost: $5,000 per person (2nd person from the same organization: $2,500) – plus travel, hotel and personal expenses.

German Mission

November 12 – 16, 2018 — Discover New England will host a sales and training mission to Germany. Mission will consist of product meetings and trainings with key tour operators and media.

Cost: $2,000 per person (5 spaces available) – plus travel, hotel and personal expenses.

Holiday World Show – Dublin, Ireland

January 25 – 27, 2019 — With nearly 42,000 visitors annually at this show, New England delegates have the opportunity to speak with enthusiastic consumers over three days and offer first-hand knowledge of our region. Irish consumers are interested in all aspects of travel to New England. Maximum number of participants will be capped at seven representatives.

Cost: $2,000 per person – plus travel, hotel and personal expenses

Visit USA Expo Australia & New Zealand

February 18 – 26, 2019 — Discover New England will host a sales and training mission in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, Australia. Mission will consist of product meetings and trainings with key tour operators and media.

Cost: $5,000 per person – plus travel, hotel and personal expenses.

Aer Lingus Roadshow (Sold out)

Cost: $1,500 per person – plus travel, hotel and personal expenses.

ITB Berlin – Berlin, Germany

March 6 – 10, 2019 — ITB Berlin – International Tourism Bourse – is the world’s largest travel and tourism industry show. ITB exhibitors and trade visitors represent all sectors of the international travel and tourism industry: Leisure, Business, Incentive, Meetings and Conventions, Health, Adventure, Education and Study. For three days, ITB is open exclusively to the trade; consumers attend on the weekend to obtain travel information and book their vacations. Discover New England will host a New England booth in the Brand USA Pavilion, which gives great visibility and increased brand recognition. In 2018, some 114,000 trade visitors came to ITB. On the consumer days of the show, more than 60,000 members of the general public came to find out about the wide-ranging information on offer from exhibitors and, for the first time, consumers were able to book their vacations directly at the show. A poll among visitors revealed that one in three intended to book a trip.

Discover New England Annual Tourism Summit and International Marketplace
Foxwoods Resort Casino, Connecticut, USA

May 13 – 15, 2019 — The Discover New England Annual Tourism Summit and International Marketplace is the only New England travel trade event where New England hospitality businesses are able to meet directly with international tour operators and receptive operators who arrange trips for tens of thousands of international travelers annually.

Registration: $695 early bird rate, $795 regular rate. 
Registration and table: $1,095 early bird, $1,195 regular rate.

UK Mission

June 26 – 30, 2019 — Discover New England will host a sales and training mission to the United Kingdom. Mission will consist of product meetings and trainings with key tour operators and media.
