Join local residents and visitors alike as they glide over the carefully manicured, refrigerated surface. The Frog Pond skating rink is open from November to mid-March with at least 100 days of seasonal skating. Whether you’re practicing for a 9.9 at the Winter Olympics or simply trying to stand on two feet, the ice at the Frog Pond will always be accommodating.

We will use our senses (and no flashlights) to navigate the trails while listening for owls calling and exploring our senses. Reservations required. For the perfect family-friendly lodging, be sure to check out the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Joe Dodge Lodge. It’s just 5 minutes up the road from Great Glen Trails, and they offer special packages that include meals.
