2012 DNE SUMMIT GOLD SPONSOR
Discover New England thanks The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, known as “The Clark,” this year’s Gold Sponsor of the DNE Summit.
The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute is both an art museum and research center, welcoming visitors year-round to experience its outstanding collections of European and American art in an intimate setting surrounded by the profound natural beauty of the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. Set on a 140-acre campus of expansive lawns, meadows, and walking trails in Williamstown, Massachusetts, the Clark is home to exceptional examples of European and American painting and sculpture, master prints and drawings, English silver and porcelain, and early photographs. The museum is best known, however, for its extraordinary collection of French Impressionist paintings.
DNE 2011 Summit Testimonials from New England Lodging & Attraction Representatives:
“I made many new contacts on both the buyer and supplier side that I feel will result in new business. There is simply no other place where you can access the buying power for international visitors …at such a reasonable cost.”
“I have already started to receive business.”
“This was our first DNE and we have walked away with approximately 7 new contracts as well as meeting 56 different tour operators and receptives in formal meetings. Some of the International tour operators are already confirming our property in their itineraries. Putting a face to a property and building relationships makes all the difference.”
“We were able to see all the wholesale receptives and international tour operators that we targeted. We have confirmed agreements with all of the major receptives not already contracted, and many tour operators have already confirmed that they will include us in their program. DNE was money and time well spent!”
“Opened some exciting dialogues that likely will lead to significant business.”
