The fourth Annual Mystic Blues Festival (MBF) will be held August 12, 13, & 14, 2016 at the beautiful Mystic Shipyard. The festival showcases an array of blues legends, including Grammy Winners, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees, and Blues Artist of the Year Award Winners. MBF not only supports and promotes Blues music, but also works with the Center For Hospice Care (CFHC).
An annual hot-air balloon festival featuring approximately 30 balloons, including some special shapes. Held annually the 3rd weekend of August. Events include balloon rides and tethered balloons (weather permitting), musical entertainment all weekend for all ages, family fun day on Sunday, craft and trade vendors, various food booths, exhibitors, children’s activities, carnival and much more!
More than 175 juried artists and craftsmen from throughout the United States will be coming to Gloucester for this festival. Live music, unique creations and delicious food will highlight the two-day event. A pancake breakfast (sponsored by the Rotary Club of Gloucester) helps to kick off Saturday in grand style while free live “family style” entertainment includes puppeteers, ragtime jazz and maritime music. The Gloucester Waterfront Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The site is handicapped accessible and friendly pets on leashes are welcome. Free Admission.
